It has been 7 days since my iPhone purchase. I have to say that I am impressed with the new revolutionary phone. The design and functionality is great. The iphone links directly to my iTunes on my Mac computer and syncs all my contacts, calendars, photos, music and videos. Its like have a mini MacBook PRO in your pocket. I can surf the web and navigate through webpages with the touch of a finger. I can set up my widgets on the phone to customize my favorite picks. To find out everthing about the new phone got to iPhone! Everything works just as you see it!!!

“iPhone Launch”

By Launch time, the line extended to about 600-700 people. There were now over 1000 people on the 3rd Street Promendade in Santa Monica for the iPhone launch.
“10, 9, 8,…3,2,1, the crowd cheered as the Apple Store opened it doors to the public. As the first 25 people walked into the store, they were greeted with cheers, hugs, and hi-fives. It was an emotional moment for the those who had been waiting in line for 36 hours. The energy continued for hours as iPhone fans piled into the store for their chance to purchase the new iPhone. Suprisingly, Apple delivered on the demand. By midnight, Apple had run out of the 8GB iPhones but still had the 4GB version in stock.

By 5pm the line had grown to about 500 people. Not including the other 300 people who were just hanging out to witness the launch of the revolutionary new iPhone. The line extended down the promenade and began to form down Wilshire.

By 10am the day of the launch, the line had grown to abour 200 people. The BUZZ was in the air. Spoke with the team from www.intoitunes.com, as they were streaming live to iPhone enthusiasts across the globe. They were exciting to be one of the 1st 50 people in line and to be able to promote their blog www.intoitunes.com to the media and many iPhone supporters. The hype only increased as the Applestore opened.

“Camping out for the iPhone”-part 1

Ok, so I stopped but the Apple Store at 1AM the day before the release (6/29) to check out the hype for myself. The que was impressive, there were about 70 people in line camping out for the iPhone. The 1st person in line had arrived at 6AM. Overall it was a relaxed vibe. Had a cool conversation with a couple of guys who are visiting from Finland. They drove down to Santa Monica just to check out the hype and take pictures. The iPhone isnt going to be available in the UK until next year, so they felt it only necessary to come see the HYPE.
