ADWEEK magazine last week released the top ten web sites of 2007. This year’s list included Youtube, Myspace, TMZ and a couple of new-comers Funny or Die and VEOH. At the top of this year’s list is Facebook. Facebook has quickly become the site of choice across the college demographic, and just recently opened up their network, allowing anyone to join. Continuing to make strides, Facebook is allowing 3rd party developers to build applications and just last month created a special web site called iphone.facebook.com, which allows members to access facebook via the iphone.
Coming in at number 4 is celebrity gossip site TMZ.com. TMZ.com has become the web site of choice for the latest celebrity gossip and mishaps with 9 million unique visitors per month. TMZ has taken it a step further with a Television program based off the website. This years’s Digital Top Ten are listed below.
1. Facebook
2. Myspace
3. Youtube
4. TMZ
5. Disney
6. Veoh
7. Funny or Die
8. Discovery
